Sky HD Box 2nd Input No Signal Received.

Anyone know what the problem is?
the 2nd input says no singla being recieved but the 1st input works fine,
this causes quite afew channels to pixelate like hell.

i have had it for 2 years now so might not be able use the warranty from sky so what can i do?
i have subscribed to them since i got the box from them till a couple of days ago when i cancelled the sub

You say '1st input works fine' but also say 'quite a few channels pixelate'.
So if the 2nd input shows 'no signal' does that mean you are talking about the 1st input pixelating?

First check your cables to make sure connectors are correct and tight. Next, swap the cables around and see what effect you get.

I had exactly the same problem a couple of months back, tried swapping cable, resret box etc but no difference.

Eventually I called sky and after they went through a list of suggestions (all of which I had tried) they agreed to send an engineer out for free (after much haggling with them).

The box was faulty and had to be replaced, the replacement box failed with same symptoms after a week and also had to be replaced. touch wood this one been working for over 2 months now.

So I would say your box is at fault!
