Service unavailable Tuner Configuration

I've downloaded DCC 2.96 and installed it.
I have connection with box and am looking at contol centre.
i've also changed language to English!!
Where next please?
 
Click on tools on the left hand side and you will find IPKG Packages option,
click that and then if you already have the ipk file in the /tmp folder it will check it and then install it,
if it doesnt do it automatically then click on the upload package button and follow the lead ;)
 
I used the upload package...everything happened very quickly then!!
I've installed both tspanel and crossepg........ I think
Will this now be showing in plugins or will I nee to reboot box?

I would reboot the box m8,and then both should show up under the main menu as well as under plugins,bear in mind you need to configure crossepg before you try to download EPG

I can see crossepg and would appreciate some advice on how to configure it please.
I can't find it in epg panel tho.
As for tspanel it's no where to be seen, even after a reboot

OK you should see an option for crossepg in Menu-Setup,chose that and then go into it's configure section,

Chose where to store,left and right arrows change options,
Decide on update time if you want it to run on auto pilot,

Exit out of that option and then go into sources and chose OpenTV and then 28.2e,

Then I think its yellow to download,and it will run away now and then everyday at the set time :)

I've hit a problem with this.
Followed everything as directed and pressed yellow but nothing has downloaded.
There's nothing referring to crossepg anywhere in epg panel either.
Any suggestions to what I've done or not done?
 
Another strange thing.
Just noticed that of the coloured buttons in the crossepg-config menu, only the red (back) button is available, the other 3 are just blank???
Can't press yellow to download as it doesn't work.
I'll leave it overnight and see if it manages to do it without my help!

Ok thats probably my fault lol
Dont press yellow when in the configure menu,
either scroll down and chose "download now" from the crossepg menu or else go to your plugin menu and press the crossepg downloader plugin :)
 
Thanks again for your help so far.
I 've still no epg.
Crossepg is in start menu. I've installed it and it shows in plugins.
I've chosen usb stick as storage device and left everything else unchanged in config.
In opentv providers I've ticked S-y UK OpenTV Astra 28.2
When I click the yellow download button, it very quickly cycles through two or three notices, starting downloader, starting converter, loading data.
This takes literally 1 second.
After that nothing is evident resembling an epg. In fact apart from the channel name everything is blank!
Is there something else to do, a box to tick maybe?
I've tried to be as precise as possible in the stages I've been through so you can check them out for me please.
I'll get back later as just popping out for a couple of hours.

Apologies for seeming thick, only could you please break this down for me.
Search the epg?
I can find plugins (press 5 from main menu) only green button is for download plugins; with no search option.
My config. screen looks exactly like the one in your link: only download doesn't work.
I'm probably missing something obvious here, but this is all becoming rather confusing. Things seem to be obvious, yet don't apply to what I can see infront of me.

To be honest m8 I would seriously consider flashing a new image :)
 
Running blackhole enigma 2.
There's actually 2 tspanel files visible in downladable plugins.
I guess there's some conflict and ones preventing the other installing???????
If I could remove one maybe things would be ok.
Everything apart from the epg is running fine; so I'm reluctant to reflash as never done before and I'm not sure what to expect.
