SA8300 Net ID

HI,

I have been “hit” with the net id change in my area and need to change the netid to 41069 I have tried a net id 2.1.7 and made a funcard 4 entering my box key ect

I have put the sa8300 into engineering screen and popped the card in the back but no joy it just sits there doing nothing
I have had a good look around the forum before posting and am a little confused what is the ipso facto can it be done with a funcard ?

You need to remove and blank/reprog the 512 chip

Ordered one from eBay pre programmed for £4

It was a pain stripping the box to bits to get at the chip on the underside but the removal and reinstallation went without a hitch

I now have TV again....

For a while!!

When you put the blank chip into the box did you just then use the funcard to program it or what do you do when the chip is blank?
Sorry to ask but i have one i need to blank/replace
