Software restoring backup to laptoptop

ok guys...got a lenovo z51 laptop had windows 8 on it..anyway i made a system image backup onto a usb hard drive....anway, proceeded to install windows 10 the assistive way,, but it got messed up somewhere along the way line..i formatted the drive and insatlled windows 10 on it , but i wanted to install windows 10 on the 8gb ssd part of the drive...how do i do that ? i think i have windows 10 installed on the normal part of the drive. ta

8GB Partition nowhere near big enough to hold a Windows 10 installation, it may not even install on there if it doesn't meet the minimum requirement.

If the drive is a Hybrid SSD/Mechanical drive, it'll move the most frequently used files to the SSD part of the drive over time. Check the specs/features of your drive using Google
