Remote problem

I hope I'm posting in the right section...
I have to remotes.
One is an original (Black) and the other one is a white one.
The both stop working (not together) and start working again after I play with the battaries.
I don't think it is something with the remotes but may be with the reciever.
Has anyone had this problem before?

Hello.
The best way to check the remotes is to point them at the camera of a mobile phone. If they are working you will see the LED on the remote flash in the phones screen.
