iPhone Quick help please

Hello,

Mate has bricked his iPhone 5 while trying to jb it, he just called saying it shows error 2005 tried to restore via iTunes and does nothing! he's dropping it off to see if I can sort it for him but not fiddled with jb's for ages I still have an old iPhone 4 lol

Any ideas? and if I can get it restored whats best to do a proper jb on it?

No, just tried and in iTunes just keeps coming up with same error.

tried tiny umbrella and still just give the error in iTunes.

Did you downgrade iTunes?

No i'm on a mac so its a pain to go through all that, i'm currently downloading older fw just incase they hadn't updated for a while and will try and force it. Failing that he can have it back and pay the money with apple store.
