Hi Peeps,

I have installed fresh new lawn in my large sized garden, I now need to invest in a lawnmower, want to get a decent one and do not mind spending a bit extra.

Any suggestions peeps?

thanks for the response guys

my garden is pretty big, i would estimate it to be 25 - 30 meters long

the cylinder mowers are expensive, out of my league

anyone know the difference between rotary & roller rotary mowers?

far neater with a cylinder

rotary mowers tend to make your grass fluffy, (no good if you want to practise your putting). you can cut your grass really short with a cylinder type. i purchased an old qualcast e30 for £30 off gumtree. the new model of the qualcast is called an elan 30 i think. dont go near them there shit (made with plastic underneath). i payed about £100 for it ages ago and hit one stone on the first cut and it cracked underneath. i recomend even getting a decent second hand cylinder type if you give a toss about having short grass. the choice is yours, lol.
