Problem flashing dm800hd pvr...

I have two 800's with same problem they both crashed when being flashed through the web browser... There totally gone need to be flashed again. When this happens to a 500 I would connect it through the null modem cable an flash it that way... it say's in the book ya can do same with these...
but I'm not getting a connection at all... I'm using dreamup 1.3.2.1 (same as the book) but have also tried 1.3.3.6 same with that...

Do I have to jtag these, nightmare...I'm having to luck at all help...

Thanks for that papa2 I had tried few different versions of dreamup... but ended up trying it on another pc with no serial but using a usb to serial converter and it failed on a couple of versions of dreamup but it worked on the same one as it did for uktvspain.net in that article v1.3.3.4.

It's uploadin DE-133dv3PHOENIX-dm800-20092010_SIM1_2_BL70_OCP_v2.nfi @ 11 kb/s... I've seen it fail after this when I broke it in the first place... fingers crossed.
