i turn my chip off by just holding the power switch in for 2 secs then it boots into M$ dash you could try that or try turnin the xbox on with the eject button that works for some peps i dont know i have not got a aladin chip but try that m8

It will play an original game and I can get into the M$ dashboard and change system settings, still not sure if it’s a softmod (the chip is in but might not be working?). Concerns me that I can only boot into the EVOX Dashboard?

I’m just about to upgrade the hard drive, I assume this will cause no problems as I’m going to ftp the old C and E drive back once I’ve formatted the new drive in the XBOX? (following the xbox-scene guide)

befor you do make sure the drive ur installin can be locked?

Last question!

Big hard drive is in now, but DVD to XBOX and XBMC can not see the drive (F), what do I need to do so I can put games on the f drive?

you need to ftp ur xbox go in to your c drive and find evox.ini transfer that to your destop or where ever and edit it look for the section called menu root this is what mine looks like just change it top what you want
