This is on the download page, I assume it's for the 5402HD but cannot load to receiver as it's .tbn and not the usual .stb

Would appreciate some help please.

Is it any good? how does it compare to the 5402? ( bought one of them a couple of weeks ago well impressed apart from the cost) does the 5302 have lan capability and all that comes with it? evil:

Thanks for the info, I didn't know about the 5302HD so assumed it was for a 5402HD because that is what it is listed under on the download file.

if you look at the spec sheet this is a nicer looking box than the 5402 and spec wise looks to be better but is actually cheaper, even allows for an internal usb hard drive to be mounted.

a question for TM OR Phant0m We been awaiting new patches for the last ten months to work all the keys together for series 5000 /6000/7000/8000 series?
New TM7102 TM6902 TM5402 come out about 8months ago and still all the packages don't work all together can you explane what is going on to us TM users?

These packages are ment to work all of them with one patch? when he was magic he used to make them work in a week all together?

the latest softcams are working on a lot of other brands of stb's why would anybody want to buy the 5302HD if Phanth0m can't even support the tm HD fleet that's there now ?

personally, i dont like the menu system of the 5302 (ive not seen one yet) as its the same as the 3000 and 8000 series of receivers

yea im with you on the menu just got me one of these tm5302 i prefare the tm5402 menu but that might be because im used to it , tried loading software on the tm5302 wouldnt work for me through box menu eg usb usb download/upload had to reboot pressing power button software loaded then , box looks better to me than the tm 5402 all in all im pleased etherenet works well cant complain upto now hope this helps

Got one of these for a customer a few weeks ago just to try it nice and easy to flash and has the same features as whats on the 5402, A nice little feature over the 5402 it has the ability to tell you your ecm times for card and other means.

Bad points the Channel data is in .tbn format and i could not find an editor so had to do a Sky list by the remote + points the recording format is .ts so more common than what the 5402 uses.

5 days later and my thoughts about this tm5302 are : menu is a load of crap , ethernet has been very glitchy ,hd pic is good but not as good as tm5402, case is better than tm5402, all in all in my opionion its worth paying the extra for the tm5402 that wins hands down at present in my opionion , anyone else having glitches ?

one more thing , i put the box in standby ,and when i get up in the morning pressing the standby button does nothing i have to switch off then on by the switch at the back think this software needs looking at , this box is on a internal network

Sorry mate would love to help but i only got one for a customer cause he specifically asked for it, as far as i am aware it still records in Fat32.

can they change this shite menu interface digi ? plans in future software to do this ? if so technomate please get rid of this and give us a menu like the tm5402 thanks

You still having problems with glitching on ethernet, the guy i got it for is having the same trouble although have just upped the latest firmware to his box dated from 20/12/2011. So far he reports its not been as bad.
