pace 1000b

Hi people ,
i have obtained a pace 1000b (well thats what is says underneath)
I have removed the tuner to cut the talk back and it looks like a 2000 model tuner. my question is did they use these tuners with a 1000b, and can a i get the 2000 model bk from a led simm

If the tuner fits OK then it's no problem. And you can not use simm card on a 2000 model. because there is no fitting for it.

hi jonny thx for the reply there is a sim slot , but when i tried to sim it , it didnt work i have done 6- 7 before with no probs, i was wondering if it was a different model, i will try again tho.

what are you asking m8 ?????????????

10001b tuner {cim} wont fit in a 2000 or vice versa yet they look similer

led simm will work on a10001b

led simm wont work on a 2000

If you have a led reader some 1000's are a real pain you need to short out 2 of the atmel legs to get the simm to register the info. been that long since i messed with the 1000. you might try googleing the problem but it is do able m8. if memory serves mr pin 26 and pin25. hope this helps.

try box key database see if its in there dont know if 1000 phase 1 b were in there but worth a try

Physically impossible mate. We are talking cim, not tuner.
Take a photo and post it up.

Maybe you have a 1000 board in a 2000 casing. Somebody prob. changed it for some reason. It prob. shows 2000 from underneath, but most likely you have a 1000 0r 1000b board if it has a sim fitting. On these you can use a ledsim card.

if it says 10001b on the bottom and its got a sim slot,"then its a 10001b


its seems you have never opened a 1000ph1b before so how do you know its deffo a 2000 cim????????????????

2000 cim wont fit in a 1000 model and the 2000 mainboard dont have a sim slot................SO ITS A 1000PH1B

the difference between a 2000 tuner and a 1000 ph1b
is the gap between the 2 inputs the 2000 is bigger so will not fit a 1000ph1b

doesnt matter what it looks like inside, just cut the same track.
i know what you mean, on the pics the 2000 can looks the same as the one you are using on the 1000. you do have a 1000 if it has a simm slot & yes you can use led.
