openbox v8s stuck in load mode

hi guys , I got a v8s openbox but its stuck in load mode , I know I have to reload the firmware with a cable but im not sure of the cable I need and the process, will it be ok to use a laptop for this any help would be gratefully appreciated ....thanks

Laptopis ok rs232 or usb rs232 adaptor.

thank you manic, is a usb to usb no use, is it the 15 pin for laptop to usb for openbox and is it the front port on the box cheers
