Numpty guide to setting up weekEPG auto update

hi

got a tm600 which ive had well over a year and have a 60gb hard drive installed internally to the USB.

i can successfully use weekepg but have to update once a week, which is no biggy for me, me dad however who also has a box is another story.

I have installed cron etc but having problems installing the update weekepg data daily or weekly option.

when i select it i get:

install failed, please check available space

any help appreciated

have you run out of room in /var/ on the box ?

Var is at 24%
Any ideas or other things I can check, maybe I've missed a step somewhere?

have you got the dir's

/var/spool/cron.daily
/var/spool/cron.weekly

For some reason I can no longer ftp to the box lol, will look at that tomorrow. I found I only had a directory for weekly, not daily or bi weekly, so I reinstalled cron and I've now got all three and its installed now.
