Not sure where to post this- linking device for best set up

Right guys we have a Virgin box with a decent package smart tv with Netflix etc. In the bedroom we’ve just been plugging in a laptop, which is quite a drain as it’s on quite a bit. What I want to do is set something up so I can see all the media on my laptop downstairs, watch Netflix upstairs, also all of the catch-up. Could I add this to my tablet, and use the Virgin go app on there or is this not possible? Basically I want everything linked only using the stuff I have at hand.

You can download the Virgin go app onto your Tablet in the Google store (not got good reviews) but give it a shot

Netflix is in the Google store as well

If you mean films on your laptop to smart tv see if you can install Plex onto the TV

Yup give Plex a try on your tv....works very well
