I was in pc world today and they had a poster on the wall about this virus, its classed as serious it said it was first detected on the 18/02/04 .so all update virus software
I check for updates nearly every day cant be too careful

i had this virus! DOH! got rid of it though, that symantec tool was useless it just stalled at a certain point whenever i scanned it!
the virus info:
Netsky.B is a worm that deletes the entries that belong to several worms, including Mydoom.A, Mydoom.B and Mimail.T.

Netsky.B spreads via e-mail and through peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing programs

Netsky.B is easy to recognize, as it displays the error message "The File Could Not Be Opened" when it is run.

i used this to get rid of it instead of that symantec tools

thankfully it worked a treat and wiped it completely off my system so if u ever get it run straight to that site!

no problem mate, i wouldnt wish this on nyone, i was getting worried! hope no one is stupid enuff to download it nyway lol, like me
