sorry mis-understood what I had to do but its all done now and happy to say that my sons psp is not a brick!!!

Can I now ask (getting cheeky) how do I copy games onto my memory card for my son??

put them in the iso folder m8
then go to memory card and open it the game will be there click on it.


ps put umd in drive

oh, dont know whats happened now but when I put a UMD in the PSP, it says

'to start you must update the syatem software'

what does this mean and what do I have to do???

if ur on 1.50 u have to update to custom firmware m8

The read me from the downgrader I used says this at the bottom of the read me

'Do not upgrade back to 3.03 or you will brick your psp, but you CAN upgrade to 3.10oe'

Am I ok to upgrade the software with the link just supplied???

And also should I format the memory card to wipe the files off from the downgrade befor I do the upgrade???

Can you tell me what this means please guys in the readme guide

'If using 1.50 firmware, Run first "kxploitpatcher", it will patch the firmware so it can load unkxploited eboots'
(if using SE or OE follow on from step "2b").

if your on firmware 1.5 then you have to run the kxploitpatcher first.
its just a patch that allows the 3.52M33 installer to work.
the kxploitpatcher is included with the installer. just run it from your memory stick before the 3.52M33 updater


if your on custom firmware already then you skip that step and go straight to step 2b of the instructions. because if your upgrading from CFW you dont need to patch it first.

just tried it, didnt install patch as agreed, and it now says

the game could not be started

what does this mean??

when I looked at my memory card, there is a corrupted data file, is this causing the problem??
