new firmware was released for sv6 and sv7 is having problems with connecting so please dont use it for the moment until safe to do so.

is that file for starviews 6 and 7s mate cuz the other files b4 were 2 seperate files for the 6 & 7 wernt they where as this is just the one!

Ive done everythin reset, scan, reboot n still hardly no movie channels....oh well!!!

could be a number of factors why no movies,
make sure firmware is same as above
before scanning remove lan cable
are you scanning from direct feed from wall ?
are you scanning correct provider ?
when you do a factory reset wait a few secs then power off at back for 10 secs
are you picking up movie channels on scan ?
when finished scanning exit out then power off at rear and insert lan
power off modem and router and box also for 30 secs then on
go to ssp1 and insert 1819 and wait for it to clear.
state signal and quality levels to see if you have a low signal.roud:
