network shares on d600?

hey fellas,
ive got my dm600 set up, and networked in for flash fxp/cs, but i was wondering if there was any way i could set up a link, so that my dreambox could share files from my pc, ie so i can stream films on the pc to the dreambox?

depends on what format the files are in
normallly the db records in ts files
music will play mp3 files
have you got an internal hdd if so for music i create a folder internal hdd called mp3 and fill it up with them then use the media player
if no internal hdd
create a mount

this works the same way to setup a mount for playback of recordings
there is a vlc plugin for other formats and vlc running on your pc to do it but i never got it working properly lol

i have got an int hdd, but really i was wanting to use it to play all my dvd rips, is this not possible?
