CD & DVD Nero help

hello


i was making my own dvd, when i woke up the laptop was off i turned it on & it seems nero made the dvd although i cant find it to burn or delete

any ideas?

this isnt clear - were you making an image or burning a disk?

try to put 3 avi files on a dvd, nero coverts with menu, then burns it to disc automatically, although because the laptop got turned off, the files is somewhere i cant find?

try the usual suspects
nero/temp
my documants/temp

go into your preferences on nero
and see where your temp files are put

mine go in
C:\DOCUME~1\Mickey\LOCALS~1\Temp\

I tried CCleaner on a file i copied to a coaster

just to see

ccleaner cleans the temp folders that nero uses

it is a free download and i use this at work (so the boss cant see wot i am doing) on a usb stick

if it dont remove about 7 memg of crap then its not there

just download & used that, but never removed it, my space jumped from 5/6gbto 1.89gb, so it defo somewhere?

No it copies it to a temp file
i wouldnt worry

try the windows cleanup program
i think the files have being removed
also remove the files in your recycle bin

it just because i have 4gb i cant find? hebce why im desperate to delete it

Do a search for files over a certain size, 500mb should do it. I'm not on windows at the moment, but it's in the usual search place. Start->Search->Search Options and select Size. Put in a size like 500000kb and click Search now. Look for something called VTS****.VOB, that will probably be the temporary files. If that isn't there (which may happen if it got as far as generating an image), you should see something in a temp directory somewhere.
