OS My Pictures/Desktop

Just recently when I go into My Pictures the look of it has changed
befor ir used to show just the pictures
now when you scroll to the bottom there are 2 more sections
Public Pictures & Desktop

Ive looked around in different settings but cant see how to remove these
any ideas guys ?

Have you recently set up a shared Homegroup or similar in your Network and Sharing Centre? May be something to to with the shared attributes?

not that I can see mate no

can remove the public if you wish

in pictures @ top pictures library will show 2 locations

click it click on public & remove works for me

done it by looking at what you said @alimac and found that if I clicked organise- layout then library pane it showed me 3 locations then had the option to remove the 2 I didnt want
