Top bike that mate. (I am getting into my biking but am still not up on all the kit).

I would be interested in your reasoning for choosing a hardtail? (unless my eyes are deceiving me)

By the way, be aware that being proud of your achievements or assets (be them degrees, or high end mountain bikes) is now considered bad form on here. :)

Kona's are virtually indestructible and very well made. That may well be the last bike that you own LOL.

What does it weigh? The spec list is dream material with all that XTR. I'd be interested to know how the fork handles compared to your older front fork.

Oh it's a bmx, I thought you ment a real bike ;)

Pmsl

I hope so munkey mate as i carnt see the wife letting me spend money like i did this time on one soon .And im not sure about the weigh it feels abit lighter them my arrow and that was 23lbs .Ill let you know about the forks over the weekend as ill be out then i know one thing these have alot more switches and turny things on for settings lol.

Cheers aswell guys for all the replies :).

I hope munkey is happy with that, as he is a weight freak.

By that I mean he likes fat chicks.

Looks an awesome machine that m8.. XTR this and that, its just not complete to me without some of them "reflectors-in-a-chicken" for your spokes from the cornflakes.

looks good m8 but i prefer 1 with a big fat lump of a motor:Cheers:

Enjoy the ride draca. As a guess I think it must be sub 20lbs or there abouts. I do have a fetish for weight saving on bikes as i am a little on the tubby side.

Looks good that:)

I prefer the Sram stuff but thats my opinion.

I warned you about that Pinnacle.

You did at mate i think i didnt use my brain last time to pick it i let my wallet do the talking instead 1300 quid for a 23lb xt/xtr bike is cheap in my eyes.I've spent more this time but im alot happier and got a much better bike.Been out on it the last two days and ive got to say its rides a dream :)
