Moved out of a cable area...

I've moved out of a cable area, so its bye-bye dBox.
The new apartment has a dish on the roof, with a port for it in my lounge. Would it be any good? The only place I could mount a motorised dish is on my balcony, so the field of view isn't going to be huge... Any help appreciated.

I'm no expert on this subject but if it's a shared dish then I think you'll find you will only be able to utilize it by getting sky to install their services and paying for them.
