Apparently in was of magnitude 6.6, with the epicentre just south of Honshu

Why don't you want to say how you know? Or did you say that so we'd ask?

Nothing reported anywhere yet.

Edit, 3- seconds after post Sky news "A "fairly strong" earthquake has struck off the eastern coast of Japan, reports say."

So, you psychic or summat?

6.6 is by no means small but not a major event for the region, the Indonesia quake was a 9.3 that caused the tsunami.

Still a sizeable one though but not on a pole-shift warning scale. For every small one that we get though it can induce a knock on effect in other areas of the world, and we certainly don't want any of the bad boys to let rip, especially Yellowstone.

God help us if that caldera blows!

I'm still wondering why "don't want to say how I know but there you go."? Why would it be such a secret? You don't by any chance have an earthquake machine at your disposal?

No secret mate, I just spend a lot of time in places that you wouldn't thats all.

Places that could be classed as above top secret or rumour mills.

That's a tad presumtive don't you think? So I don't trawl sites for seismic activity ( not always anyway ) but how an earth do you know you spend time in places I don't? Metaphorically speaking obviously and not actual, physical places.

No it isn't english and not getting into one. Torque,I didn't mean it to sound patronising,if it did then sorry.

Lets just say I'm psychic or something.

Or maybe the web bot was right all along.

Something big is supposed to happen from Aug 16-Aug 22nd, and then the stuff is really supposed to hit the fan on Oct 25.

Get your tin hats and baton down the hatches.

Thanks for the super duper top secret info.

I've just rewired my Coleco Vision to work of my bicycles dynamo and I've bought a pallet of overdated jam from the pound shop. I think I'm ready for next week whatever it may bring.

I do hope that it's something big like a massive naval armada heading towards the UK or something similar like millions of randy rabid man eating dogs about to be set free in Essex.

Don't be daft Munkey.

The sky is going to rain frogs with the faces of Jeremy Paxman.

They will all interview us to death in a smug way.

Yeh and David Icke predicted that Arran would fall into the sea in 1991 or something..
