Thanks m8 had a look none of them are the same or even look compatible
i just cant seem to find the one any were here is the full numbers from it

I also have had a problem with my screen - I had a Fujitsu Amilo great laptop until the screen packed in! i also looked around for a lcd screen invertor but had no joy, so in the end I have just uded a serial cable to attach to a monitor.

Have you had any joy with this m8? you may struggle as being packard bell...if it was Dell then parts are quite easy to get hold off....anyhow if I come across anything I'll post back here!
