i got this email from my brother he got a krypview off some one on ebay but there not ringing him back

i recently tried installing the new beta version on kryptview,however i only ended up with about 50 channels. i tried reinstalling my older version but have had problems with my box ever since. when i plug the box in at the socket it is switching itself on automatically and will not switch on/off with the front panel or remote control.is there anything i can do to solve this or anywhere i can get the box reflashed and serviced ?. i have tried reinstalling the software but cant due to the fact the box is not resp;onding to the remote control

it worked to start with he only got the prob after putting the newer firmware on not happy with it he tryd to put the old firmware back on thats when he got the prob
