i just tried selecting provider then full scan nothing came up
software is 4.0.02

if the same then either you have no live feed or you need a signal booster

ok, start from scratch them.

follow the steps from the video then look at what firmware the box is,
the date is important...

what is the firmware date on the box?
is the box connected to internet ok?

you said you just got the box, have you flashed it?

try this.

1: press menu
2: installation (code 0000)

now see if there is a option to perform an online update..

the date for w/w is 08-01-2013 sw 4.0.02 and hw is v3.0.0

ive not flashed it yet mate should i flash it,gives me no option to do online update just automatic search,manual search,data download and factory default settings

aahh,

yes you have to flash the box with "unofficial" firmware to open more "features".

you will need:

1: a null modem cable
2: computer/laptop with seriel post or usb to seriel converter
3: firmware loader software
4: latest kva780 bin file

i can help you with the files if you have the hardware...

yes, there is restrictions on new members downloading files, need to make 5 posts..

give it an hour till the site updates and you should be able to download..

most new laptops dont have the serial port/rs232,an old pc running xp more than likely has one or an old dell lappy,anybody you know have one?
