Just had Dish and DM800HD installed - Need Help

I've just been told I should not have to do all this fine tuning.

did you pay them to install?
should instal not include fine tuning of the sat to obtain a signal?
as fta does exactly wot it says on the tin!
did they beetle off and whilst leaving you with nothing?

Thanks wiz569, do I do this even though I have a motorised dish ? I thought I could use usals if I just enter the latitude and longitude ?

Im in the same boat as you mate so if you suss it will you give me a shout.

If it helps try the guide suggested ive managed to scan a couple of sats using the guide below.

Any cosolation ive had a sat man round mine for 2 days and got the dish working perfect with his nanno box but he didnt no shit about dreamboxes.

I'm running good now, got a guy up to set it up for me, dont ask me how he fixed it all I know is he setup few things on my box and re-aligned dish.

All good now.
