Just got an Etouch Android Tablet ? What can I do with it?

Cant get the streaming to work on the s2 fone tho but works no probs on the tab. Great little app.

Have you tried either Daroon player or Vplayer Ian?

There really rubbish, updated the firmware on it last night and can download the "aplanet" app, and then run it, but when you go to download then it just says "your download will start soon" or some thing to that affect. and then none of the apps download...........Just keeps saying the same message.

Good job I ain't paid for this, and then not to mention it's just sluggish and the touch screen starts to do things it want's too, like takes a picture all the time. Sent an e-mail to the manufacturer to see what they say, but this is going in the bin me thinks.

stay clear of these and yes they are bottom of the market, like scrapping the bottom of the barrel market I'd say! RUBBISH! lol.....

What version of android are you running, you really need to on 2.x or above if you can. Though I did spot it only has 128MB RAM which could be a bit restrictive.

Anyway have a look here for apps, they have around 60,000 android apps covering every thing you can think off. I use mine (well the kids mainly) for games, educational stuff, media playback and I have some exercise tracking apps.

applanet.net, but none of them would run or download, any way, No worries man, loving the new "tablet" it's mint man! applanet and that all installed and just abusing the apps now, just need to figure out the streaming from the dream using "vplayer" or maybe look for that "daroon" Happy Days! ​

You need dreamdriod and vpalyer and vpalyer codecs or dreamdriod and daroon . Once Dreadriods installed select profiles then menu on the tablet. That lets you add new profile. Put dreambox ip in and save. Activate that profile Then you should be cookin by gas

when you open an app and then you go back to home, if you click the little button on the right hand side down to the left you see all the screens still open. How do I close these mo fo's ! I've been restarting it...lol

I got both mine from Blackmart Alpha, but it should be on Applanet

To kill the apps mate you need to get Advanced Task Killer. Unfortunately Android isn't very good in that respect.

Thanks man, yeah got advanced task killer, so that's all I do then, just run advanced task killer and then kill all the open apps, I was trying that but then they were all still open, or maybe that was just me being me, lol...I'll have another go at opening 100 windows and then killing them using said program.

Ok mint, found dreamdroid, and have created a new profile with the IP address and the port 192.168.1.4 (dream800) and port I've used :8001 (got this from the PC when it streams to VLC)

I just get 502 bad gateway?

I found I had to remove the default entry and create a new one for it to work, I couldn't connect for some odd reason. When you use task killer, make sure you don't kill task killer otherwise everything will stay open.

8001 is the streaming port, but you need to connect on the web interface so 80 or 8080 (or 8088 if you have it set that way)

one last thing If I can please? on the left hand side I have a "hand" that keeps moving up and down on the screen in between 2 arrows, I've disabled "gestures" in the settings? lol, any ideas? ah sorted it was for the brightness.....sorted it's wicked!

Ah it's wicked you can watch all your recorded stuff back from the dream....brilliant.!
