I was tinkering (adding things I shouldn't have) and I've killed it.

The front VFD is blank but the screen displays the wee penguin chap, so it can't be dead.

@ Digi, will DreamUp reflash this mate or will I need something else?

ensure the file on the usb is called

TM800_update.bin

or youll get the error NO FILE on the display

The witchy fooked it recovery tool

I get NO DISPLAY on the front LED.

MiniRoot isn't there.

The box boots to the 'Starting....' screen then hangs, there is no display on the front panel.

Panic over.

I removed the internal HDD and tried it again, this time the front panel has lit up and I can access MiniRoot.

Phew!

I wonder if it had anything to do with the fact that the box hasn't initialized the hdd?

as dd said in another post i think where it crashes it dumps a log to hdd..

but being as the hdd cant be accessed sticks it in a crash loop
