iPlayer and 6800HD Super

Does anyone know how the iplayer facility shortly to be generally released on Freesat, works ?
Any idea whether I would be able to get my 6800HD Super to use it ?

as I understand it the early version will be red button based, later to be added to the freesat guide itself
