hi mrs has a iphne 4 its on vodaphone , she hs just gone over to giff gaff when i insert the sim it doesnt work so i presume the fone is lcked to voda , i bought her the phone brand new off ebay (an insurance job i think) so she isnt the original account holder fr the phone , i emailed voda fone and they said she cant have the code to unlock. so can i jailbreak this phone so i can get iff gaff to work? the current firmware is 4.3.3(8j2) . can i update it before jailbreaking or best to leave it as the fw version its on?

also can anyone link me a n0ob jailbreak and what else to make giff gaff work?

Don't update the firmware because that will update your baseband.

Only certain badebands are unlockable.

There is also adapters available that can be used to unlock. Can't remember their name.

Grevey is the sim option. The seller can get an unlock code off Vodafone for free if they contact them
