iPhone iphone 4/4s

hi i have got hold of an iphone 4 or 4s not sure what one but i have restored it to factory and now it need activating ive tried redsnow evasion snowbreeze tiny umbrella and none of them will activate it i have tralled through countless sites and still getting nowhere can anyone help

right ive activated it and installed ultrasn0w but what do i do now as i want it unlocked and do get how the program is meant to do it

Unlocking it depends on the baseband.
I think there's only 1 unlockable baseband for the 4/4s so if you've restored / updated it chances are the baseband was updated to

Here is a list : Unlockable Basebands !

To see what baseband you have goto settings / general / about and look at the modem firmware.
If the baseband is not unlockable by ultrasnow then you will have to get it unlocked by the service provider
