Right guys... feel a bit daft but.....

My old subbed box gave up the ghost the other day. So I pulled the jumper inside and removed the battery. I also kept getting card error messages... not inserted e.t.c.

Well I thought I'd check the card and glitched it using the BOD script. and save d the image. it all looks ok, however, after rebooting the box I have an invalid card message that scrolls to an insertion error message. I have cleaned the dataspace (Thanks TBC) but I am still getting the message. I have tried an AU atmega (Foolish I know but I think the box is boll ox ed) and get the same message. Any hel appreciated.... I would call NVMTL but I'd have a bit of explaining to do for the other cables!!!

try a forced update m8 with card in this could solve it for you
sorry also check the bk if it starts 6d it is false m8

I have a pace 1000 that does this every now and then.
If I pull the card out for a sec then reinsert it, it says "updating card - you can't use the remote" then all is fine again.
I never got to the bottom of why it started doing it, but it works again lol
