invalid address on gold card?

When i try and program gold card with elvis it starts ok but then stops with an error message invalid address, data corrupt. Should i just bin the card or can it be sorted?

Never come across this before m8, try another card and try downloading the hex again. Let us know the results please.

What hex are you using?

Hi M8 this happend to me , I downloaded the Hex again and that seemed to work ,worth a try <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">

I've not got another card to try, tried a diff hex but still not working. Erorr mess: programming address Oh, Corrupt data=3FFFh. Expected Data =1683h.<br />I think the cards toast.

try to auto update card see if that sorts it

gazzaman give the card contacts a good clean then erase it 4 or 5 times in your progger{that might do the trick}.

This happened to me and it turned out the battery was going flat on the elvis.

that fault refers to one of 3 things <br /> <br /> 1. faulty /or wrong chip on card

2. poor hex file

3. card not inserted correctly
