[INFO] Old Neutrino on Tuxbox

with help from nitr8 this now compiles with network features and also seems to work flawlessly. apart from scanning is a problem.

although using uk cables.xml and stuff it comes back instently with transponder scan complete and finds nothing.

is the dreambox's way of scanning tottaly diffrent to the dbox.

i know others are reporting no problems with scanning in other countries .

would it please be possible for sombody to give me a few pointers on uk scanning

This is my first post so id like to start off and say hello to every one.

I have been looking through this thread and am very interested in giving this a go. Can any 1 point in the right direction.

I need to know what compiler I need and where I can get it from. Also can I use and existing CVS image and use that as a base or is there 1 image that every 1 is using.

Hi there, I admire the work some of you guys put into development.
I also am very interested in developing and have a Fedora 7 system installed and have CVS now installed from tuxbox.
Any chance i could get into dreambox school also?

has anyone here got this image 2 show any channels or do a full scan & pick up any channels?
 
@ pt-1 how do i go loading this do i have to ftp it across to the image and were would i send it to thanks
 
Never done a Dreambox so someone else need to help

ftp to /tmp and install via telnet or (better off ) use dream up to install it as this neutrino is slighlty buggy so dreamup may be better for the job :)
