Open a Com's Console with 115200 baud so you can see if anything is wrong.

Have DreamUP ready just in case ;-)

Seife is the man who got this far but he has got Sat only and AudioSlyer is working on the cable side of things.

Have fun and keep me updated so I can report back ;-)
 
Any indications if or when this will make it into the cvs m8?

compiled today for dm500 :) not tested yet though as our lass watching tv and wont let me play

this compiled fine for me no errors or chunks on the diff. But ive looked everywhere for the finished image and cant seem to find where it is . can sombody point me in the right direction thanks in advance.

have alook in /root/cdkflash should be there as complete.img

well ive done somthing wrong because i dont ave any *.img files in that folder.

is the make command i used have i missed somthing lol .....( i normally do)

please forgive me im only learning and used to compiling for the dbox

this will strip all the libs, enigma etc and make your image in
/root/cdkflash/complete.img

cheers m8 . just to let you know this does boot on a dm500c fine.

now for the tender love and care to build a working uk image.

p.s sorry i jump ahead of myself this still produces network issues so out with dreamup for me ;)

as above allows the script to be executable and enables that the important part is in /var and the right symlinks are created

I know it is in my post to but maybe you overlooked it
 
@NJ,

according to Seife the cdk/customize-flash should do exactely what is failing on yours.

Have a look into it and maybe manually mod it

surley some more feedback and pointers can be posted in the thread these diffs and project origanate from. saffe hasnt got a dreambox to test so if we help now surly a uk neutrino image would be possible sooner rather than later.
 
Some more Info

Basically 2 different people at the Tuxbox Board are developing on this.

DBluelle towards the same process as a normal Dream would do
Seife as a Dbox would do so everything should stay compatible

MB405 built via the latest Seife's Diff and officially confirmed that the following directorys/links are not generated:

--var/etc/network
--var/etc/init.d
--var/tuxbox/boot
--var/tuxbox/config
--var/tuxbox/config/zapit

Also the Network test seems to work but does nothing
Telnet and FTP do not work

Seife answered that his diff does not create /var/tuxbox and he has mentinoed that he might only do the stuff he want's his diff to do in the 500 branch. Maybe this is why it is failing and he welcomes any modded diff's or suggestions.

As usual this is a comunity project and needs the help of everybody and cannot excist if people just do not contribute anything and wait for the final result.

Due the new patchset and also the stuff that has been checked in over the weekend you can then just update:

You can also force a re-built by deleting neutrino or zapit and then for example rebuilt via:
