infinity usb

hi
i have an infinity usb (not phoenix) programmer it does atmegas and funs etc
can this programmer read and write mosc cards?
if not what would you recomend and where to get it?

it sounds like u have the unlimited one like mine, in which case u can read and write mosc with it.....have a look at this link, i posted some pics there for someone else to help out, this should solve ur problem, read the whole thread and my pics are on post 4..

when writing or reading mosc it needs to be in vcp mode...look here

I use an unlimited as well mate and never have any problems with it .These are the settings i use
Settings in programmer s/w >>OPTIONS>>GENERAL, the following boxes ticked, remember directory on file load, beep when done, disable verify of ext eeprom
Advanced, Autodetect cpu before write/read/erase
Startup Check for new updates, Show splashscreen

ADVANCED (at bottom of screen) Mode 1 off


NAGRA EDIT
Ensure this is set to windows 98/me compatability (this is a must)

Options All boxes ticked
Communications error retry count 10
d2c max jump count 20
crystal 3.6864mhz

Rom 10+11
No response count out 3
No response retry count 3

make sure com port are set the same

clone wizard

verify card and
auto program card.

when u say u click on tools and all u have is is the above, are the other 2 there but just not highlighted, cos if so, it won't let u click on it until u have it plugged in......

Hi

I have a usb unlimited and really easy to use and as long as you have the settings as advised above you should be fine for reading and writing moscs.

i think he may just have one of the infinity usb programmers that doesnt incorparate phoenix in which case then will not be able to do moscs , see attached pic
