Ifa and windows 7

HI Guys and girls.
Been flashing my box with xp for years now , So know i little bit about it.
But it just hangs in window 7 when i try to flash my box , I have turned firewall off and only have it running on one cpu. can anyone help as my box is stuck and wont start up , So i cant use flash fxp. oh and reason i'm using window 7 is my old laptop broke so got a new one with windows 7 on it.

Get 'IFA Portable' instead of the full installed version.

Using IFA myself and Windows 7 (dual booted on my mac)

no problems at all, and never even had to turn off Windows firewall
