With all the publicity there's been about the ending of support for Windows 7, I've been playing around with a copy of Win 7 Ultimate on an old laptop.

The surprising thing is, I find it easier to use and much more intuitive than Windows 10 which I've been using for years now.

Is it just me? 0 - confused.gif

I'm still using 7. Apart from the annoying no more support message when I open chrome, I still prefer it to 10.

I only moved to 10 for DirectX 12.
I believe you can now run it on Win 7, but to late for me, i cant be arsed with the hassle of going back.

I never thought there was anything wrong with xp. Everything was easy to find, not hidden several clicks deep like Windows 10/11. However Microsoft likes to make extra money and gain more control of it's operating system. I must use Linux more one of these days. :)

Windows 8.1 i thought was decent but like Windows 7 it is pretty much gone down same road no support from this month with
Windows 10 not far behind 2025 also support for Windows 11 21H2 ends this year
