Ive used these instructions and have had no issues going through the steps, everything went as it should and have strong wireless connection but no connection to broadband.
I have a cat6 cable running from my hub3 access point in my detached garage to my attic into a 8 port switch, the switch is then connected to my hub4 in my hall.
Could this be an issue going through a switch, i wouldn't of thought so myself.
I have done all my own cat6 wiring and all cables have been done as a straight through type cable, but i believe if i am connecting a switch to a hub then it should be a crossover type cable. B
But then my cable from the attic switch to main hub4 is fine, so should crossover not be fine for attic switch to detached garage hub3 access point.
Reuse a spare BT Home Hub as a Wireless Access Point | Unix etc.
