help with jtag

hi all ive got a eurovx blue with the intel chip, got it set up with the jatg on board of eurovox USING SKYmax now*****GOT it all sorted but now get this error in "Init JTAG
IDCODE : FFFFFFFF
Fail DCU, Plesae Restart or Reset CPU Box

any ideas......

and on jkeys i get unknown device with the the development panel greyed out .............
 
Use Jkeys 1.3.3 for the Blue box and not Skymax.

Unplug the box and plug it back in if you get the above error message, you may have to do this a number of times before the software see's the box.

Or - try the following:- to the left hand side of the pins where you have the Jtag lead connected (close to the large diode) you will see 2 jumper pins (just like you see on a PC motherboard), turn off the power to the box, short out the pins, power back up the box, wait about 5 secs then remove the short, run Jkeys 1.3.3

Shorting the pins works just like clearing the CMOS on a motherboard.

is there a photo online somewhere off the pins ,cant determine which ones you mean

l used this the other night on my m8s locked out box. got the same readings and it opened the box so l installed the f/w with the serial cable then .. seemed easier
