Help Updating PSP FW 3.90 M33-2 to the latest possible

Hi

I have just tried this on my psp 1003 . From 3.90 I updated to gen a, then to gen b but gen c showed up as error so I went straight to gen d3. All was going fine untill it froze on flashing files screen. After some time had passed I removed the battery as it had stopped doing anything. Now I am left with it doing nothing more than the power on LED.

Is it recoverable?

i have downloaded Gen A and the bigfix and i stuck them in
PSP>GAME>UPDATE

but when i go to my PSP and search for it under games its not there to update..
can you please tell me what i am doing wrong thanks

Thanks for the offer m8. I have got my hands on another psp but half way through making the magic stick it freezes and the psp say please wait.

Just keeps doing this over and over. Am I doing something wrong?

are u using grader 8 on xp machine?
