Software Help on Laptop Auto shutdown

Hi guys..just need some help on may laptop that i've been using for 3 years..but yesterday every time i open it will auto shut down at start up..i tried boot up on safe mode it works fine..i never installed or update any drivers before this happens..anyone had an idea about this?

Maybe in safe mode roll back in system restore to a time when it worked. Could just be a windows update that went wrong or isn't playing well with something .

i didnt remember that i updated or install a new software or hardware b4..so i tried system restore and it roll me back last 30th of september.i do system restore on that date and still the problem exist..

Instead of safe mode can you use last known good configuration in case its a registry problem

generally if a MS patch fails it will try twice more before removing itself and registering as a failure

It's possible to turn off auto restart for system errors. Which version of Windows are you running?
