help in garden

im about to have a conservatory built and im wanting to back fill my garden against the walls i was just wanting to know do i have to put anything on the walls first to stop damp and stuff thanx if anyone can help:Cheers:

You don't have too but personally I would, use some plastic sheet or maybe even weed suppresser

if possible paint the wall with tar, while the tar is wet throw potassium chloride crystals at it, loads of the stuff, fill with hardcore and soil over the top if you need it to look nice
