DVB - PC Cards help dvb-c or dvb-s

HELP, like most people i am getting very anoyed with the speed of VM broadband and i am thinking of ending my subscription. So here is my problem.
What do i do about my tv system
• I have an old nexus-s rev 2.3 (never got it working with cams) but would try again if this is possible
• Get a dreambox-s will i get the same channels on dvb-s as i do on the dvb- c system (sky channel linup difference understood).
I am also considering a technotrend budget card.

And i suppose it would be nice to know that if i cancel broadband will the tv signal still be transmitted (i do not have a tv subscription) but i have noticed that when my broadband is dead the tv signal is still alive

(i do not want to use a viewing card)

Sky via satellite is simply not cracked. A sat box or dvb-s card cannot change this.
If you cancel all VM services its likely a cable engineer will disconnect your tab in the street box.
