HELP - Can you guys help me through 4.3 Letterbomb PLEASE ??

Hi guys, got mates wii here that was updated from 4.2 to 4.3. I softmodded this using the older 4.3 guide on here with Lego Indy game.

I no longer have this game but want to remod using Letterbomb.

The first part looks simple enough (install Homebrew) i think ? Just input mac address/extract and put on SD card.

Bit confused about the

I have also downloaded the Modmii Installer and installed this on my desktop.

If peeps in the know could subscribe to this would be great.

If you have downloaded modmii then just run it and follow the on screen instructions. It will then download the required files and instructions.

I started doing that and it stated i needed a game ?

put a bland sd card in your pc, tell modmii what you want to do and it will write all necessary files to sd card and produce a tut for you..

Installed Homebrew channel.

Installed Bootmii as IOS

Installed Bootmii as Boot2.

Don't know if that is right ? But think thats what i done on the old wii 4.3 mod ??

Will load up Modmii installer next.

Just loaded up ModMii so where do i go next ? It does not mention homebrew at all ??

W - Modwii wizard and guide or

U - USB loader setup and guide

1. modmii wizzard
2. select yes
3. 4.3
4 e
5 type in bomb

then modmii will download everything you need and create a tut for ya....

or if homebrew is already installed.

1. modmii waizzard
2 select no
3. yes instal ios
4. select 4.3

and it will download everythging you need and make you a tut

Well seems to be working, backed up nand etc

All games showing up but no covers, i did save them from the old sd card though.

Do i just leave the sd card as it is now ?

what version modmi are you using because when i follow these steps when i type bomb modmi closes down and leaves me with nothing i have ver 4.7.5

sorted it now it was because i was trying on a non modded wii on 3.2 when i followed your instructions exactly ie input 4.3 for the firmware it took me to the right page but will it work on 3.2 without updating or do i need to do an official update on the internet first

as far as i know, the letterbomb hack wont work on a 3.2 wii

i done one on saturday night.

i just let it do an online update.

then followed the letterbomb havk....


soo much easier now with modmii and multi mod manager.

took no time at all to do it...

sorry for butting in on your thread but im in the same boat.ive followed as you have described with the ModMii but when i put the SD card in and go through homebrew that's about it .i can download apps but i cant see were to boot them or anything else .
im on 4.3e but im lost as to my next move , can anyone help please.

what part are you at?

have you backup up nand or anything?

Doing this again and already have an ext hdd with games in folders in wbfs format, the hdd is also formatted to FAT32.

Not got and SD card, so at point -

How would you like ext HDD formatted -

What do i select ? Tried 5 but it asks for an SD card later on ??

If i select 1 it looks as if it would wipe the ext hdd ??

Anyone help ??

So basically trying to do without sd card BUT with an ext HDD in Fat32 with games already on it.

have u got the usb loader channel already on the wii?

extract this direct to your hardrive, if the channel is installed, try launching it.

Its a brand new wii.

Just want to do as usual but with games on fat32 drive (usually do them wbfs) ?
