Freeview N00b

I just got an LG 42” Plasma at xmas and just figured out that it has built in freeview. I need a “CAM” PCMCIA converter I think to go in the slot on the side of the TV and I will also need some kind of card to go in it as well. But the thing is all this freeview stuff it really daunting can anyone please point me in the direction of a real easy step by step tut so I can get to work on getting my freeview up to speed with all the extras.

Freeview will work with out a cam and card mate, but its just the normal channels,

The cam slot is for adding a cam and either a setanta card or topuptv card which you will have to pay for.

Yes I know that you can put one of those cards in the cam but I don't have those cards i have some different cards. So will they work instead? I.e: funs, tit1, ATMEGA, Wafer and so on....
If you still don't know what i mean (nudge, nudge, wink, wink) then can some one please PM me what i need to know thanks.

No Mate they will not work in the cam slot in the TV. sorry
