Football Fans... ANYONE ???

It does piss me off, but I think what a lot of people don't realise is that you get all these people from all round the country phoning up shows on Sky Sports saying they are Man United fans, and as you say you get your mates in London saying they are Utd fans too, but very few of these people have ever actually been to Old Trafford to see a game, true enough they'll watch it on the ** but they wont travel to see the game. Recent studies by the club have proved that 90% of season ticket holders live within 12 miles of the ground.

I'm with you on this one Mickie, as are most United fans from Manchester.... SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL TEAM... and get off our bandwagon!!!

cosmoss you just said it all, that was my hole point !!!!!!!!!!.

totaly bloody true and about time someone said it
the fans that support teams just because they are winning.supported newcastle for 30yrs and will die supporting them weather in the premier league or the non league no disrepect to the non league teams. happens all over the country if not the world.

well i still supported LIverpool during the nineties when we won sod all to speak about -and Liverpool r my nearest footy team so no bandwagonning (huh?) there.
Hey, even in the seventies and eighties I saw the hard times...we came second once or twice - LOL
i have greatest respect for ManU .. just don't LIKE them.
If you asked most footy fans who they hate, they would say ManU..just like they used to hate Liverpool...it's the price of sucess which breeds jealousy..I ain't afraid to say I'm jealous of them.
btw, don't take all this too seriously Scoot, Silvershadow and all.... I'd love Newcastle to win it, if only for Bobby Robson

The only football fans in England are Man Utd fans, the rest are just people who dont like or hate Man Utd, sorry all but the truth sometimes hurts.

To be honest daing I love it when I hear supporters of other clubs say they hate Man U, nobody hates a shit team unless it's a local rival, like you say everyone hates Man U, thats because we are so good, just the same as they hated Liverpool in the 70's and 80's, so when I hear someone say the hate us I treat it as a mark of respect.

When they dont hate us I'll be worried.

Sorry zx, dont agree with you, there are a lot of good football supporters out there apart from Man U fans, but what is sad is when a group of supporters are more happy when Utd lose than when their own team win.

I think they call them Manchester City fans.

u see my point then Cosmoss - glad we agree on summat
I don't hate Everton btw.... we get six points a season off them and they give me plenty to laugh about

Same here m8, I dont hate city, basically because they're not worth hating, and like you say about Everton, it's 6 points in the bag and a local derby for us every other year when they get promoted again.

and another thing...I hope I still get help on things when I need it ..it's ONLY a GAME! lol

All m8's in here daing, of course you'll get help. How about this for a combination, I'm a season ticket holder at Man U, my girlfriend is a season ticket holder at Liverpool, it causes some good ol' arguments on a Saturday evening.

Well Cosmoss, I'd probably fancy your girlfriend more than I would you. lol
How the hell do you manage?

oops, Gazer woke up... I'll see you at Deepdale then, gazer . it's only about 15 miles away...you still using lace-up balls up there?

Well there's only one team out there this season to watch out for,and thats (preston) Because next season we will be up there.

And we are coming for the lot of you

Well I would hope so mate, I don't mind the arguments right now but it was a bit of a struggle when you were 11 points ahead of us.

Thats what I get for having a scouse girlfriend lol.
