Seen you post that a couple of times. Not to sure if this makes sense. My mate owns TV repair and installation company.
He said to me last week “people dont understand the damage that could be caused by pulling firesticks out of TVs while there still on, also putting them in ports while power is on.

Although he seems to think it damages the TV more than the firestick?

Not 100% sure mate.
But he is adamant about it as he is getting more than ever calls about it and most if not all had firesticks.

Maybe @IANB or @chookey could shine a bit of light on it?
When power was on both firestick and TV while removing or inserting firesticks.
