Did you set the scrambling system to nagra in the cam menue? The option All is not so good.

i stuck with 'all' cause when i try to switch to nagra it seems to hang up....waited, for what seemed ages before giving up....maybe that's the prob.. i'll try nagra again and wait,,,,,

Its always a good idea to reset the cam after changing options.
After leaving the cam menue remove and reinsert the cam.

@Neathdrew - Not a problem! I was kind of venting off tbh - it's easier to start a new thread with specific questions, rather than keeping one running. Current status:

tried nag - restarted cam but it won't change from all... i'll keep on trying but this cam is sure as hell tempermental....must be female

Excellent advice on scanning a few times neathdrew. Kind of got fed up with messing about with different drivers etc, so I've left the analogue card receiving cable and kept the BDA drivers for the FireDTV installed.

Scanning a few times on different days/times seems to be doing the trick. Before, I would scan, get a few channels and assume the I'd got the wrong transponder frequency...
